{hayleigh brown reflection.odt} 1. Explain how you tell if resources for your project re reliable.(websites, books, newspapers, magazines, etc.) (reliability can be determined by currency, credibility, authority, etc. depending on the circulum topic)
To tell if resources were reliable, I used websites that are used for school work and the ones that ended In .org and some scientist websites. Also if the website was not approved by the school I wouldn't use it because it is not reliable.
2.How were the websites and information relevant for your project?
The websites I used were very relevant, I chose to use all of the .org websites and anything that told be the differences between bacteria and viruses.
3.how did you evaluate resources for point of view, bias, values, or intent of information.
I evaluate my sentences by changing them up into my own words. And if I am not sure if there true I research them a couple times to make sure they are facts. If I have a sentence I make sure its in 3rd person.
4.How did you work on the project with other students. How were they involved with your project?
other students helped me on my project by helping on my table. We each had a part of the section to do and it helped me learn a lot more than I knew about viruses and bacteria.
5. How did you work on the project independently?
I did my work independently by putting the sentences in my own words and by setting the words up in my own format. I also researched every fact I used.
6. Explain ethical behavior (copyright, not plagiarizing, netiquette) when using resources and use them correctly, so that you didn't violate any copyright laws.
When I used resources, I made sure to include the address at the bottom of my page. I also made sure that I did not write my sentence in the same form.
7. how do you use safety precautions when using online resources (personal information, passwords, etc.) what precautions did you take to protect you and your work when using the computers and online resources? To make sure my work was safe I used only school sites and I read the information about the website. Also when I had my websites I used difficult passwords and kept them to my self so no one could enter it.
8. what technology did you use to complete the project? (computer, websites, wiki, etc.)
On this project I mostly used a computer to complete the information. The website I have been posting the information on is my wiki. For information I usually used NC wise owl. It helped me find out the differences between viruses and bacteria.

Viruses have genetic material of there own. Viruses can Also contribute to cancer . The reason HPV causes cancer bye altering or changing the genetic make up of your cells. viruses are different from anything else found on earth and characterized by there size or shape, and half alive/half dead existence. HPV changes your genetic make up by adding or deleting a gene or a genetic material that makes your cells cancerous. Viruses consist of genetic material (DNA OR RNA) surrounded by a protective coat of protein. They are capable of latching onto cells and getting inside of them. My other reasoning for this is Cells become cancerous when the cell communication structure becomes altered and the cell continuously replicates. Viruses can be transmitted Person to Person by bodily fluids like HIV ,Viruses like the cold are transmitted by air we breathe everyday

My last reason is on daily bases you need to drink at least 3 quarts of water to keep your body healthy.

Antibiotics are used to clean out and fight the bad bacteria in your system but most of the time antibiotics cant kill every deadly germ that has you sick. Bacterias can sometimes be good for your body but it depends on what kind.
I have found all the information that is needed to conclude all of this evidence is a virus is more deadly and proves a virus may contribute to cancer. It all so can give you genital and anal cancer from HPV. And when your sick make sure you drink plenty of fluids to keep your self hydrated and keep your body functioning normally.
